Directions to The Richard Johnston Inn

We are conveniently located just off of I-95 in Fredericksburg, Virginia. We are about half-way between Richmond and Washington, D.C., approximately one hour from each.

From I-95 North:

1. Take exit 130A onto Route 3 East / Plank Road, go 1.7 miles.
2. Turn left onto Lafayette Boulevard, go 1.1 miles.
3. Turn left onto Caroline Street, and we’ll be on your right in 0.2 miles.

From I-95 South:

1. Take exit 130B-A and use the ramp to Falmouth to get onto Route 17 Business South / Warrenton Road, then go 1.5 miles.
2. Turn right onto Washington Street and go 0.3 miles.
3. Turn right onto West Cambridge Street, then continue on to King Street, then continue onto River Road and go 1.3 miles.
4. Turn right onto Chatham Bridge and go 0.2 miles.
5. Turn left onto Sophia Street and go 0.2 miles.
6. Turn right onto Charlotte Street, and then make an immediate right onto Caroline Street. We will be on your right!
