Physical Accessibility (ADA)
Due to the historic nature of our properties, there is limited accessibility at The Richard Johnston Inn and 1890 Caroline House. Most guest rooms access require navigating stairs and there is no elevator. We strive to meet the standards set by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and continue to make improvements to the property when possible. The William Riley Suite, located at the 1890 Caroline House has a private ground floor entrance that can accommodate a wheelchair. It is ADA Accessible. The bathroom has a large walk-in shower and grip bars. Parking is not available at the Caroline House, however, it is available one block away at The Richard Johnston Inn. Guests may book this room online or via phone (540-899-7606) or e-mail requesting a room.
